Written by Dressage Central // July 10, 2012 // News // Comments Off
The two Elementary classes occupied the morning at Kingston Maurward. The Open was an exceptional class with the top ten all scoring 70% or more. The winner, by over two percent on 74.48% was Lucy Cartwright and Samber Dancer, fresh from their win in the Shearwater 6 year old class at Hartpury last weekend. ,The other qualifiers were Zoe Colgate and Windemer, Rachel Jones and A Ottoman and Alice Oppenheimer and Headmore Roxanne. Headmore Roxanne also qualified for the Novice Restricted yesterday, ridden by Gayle White.
The two qualifiers in the Elementary restricted were Keri Ann Rockingham Smith with Sundance and Julie Nunn on Delantoz.
The Medium open in the afternoon was won by the extravagant Nip Tuck ridden by Kate Bailey. Both from the Carl Hester stable. Second was Matt Frost on the giant AMD Don Rosso II and the other two qualifiers were Chloe Vell with Kaja Di Valentina and Alice Peternell with Florentino.
Emile Faure was in this class but failed to qualify on a tense Ebony VII. His chances were not helped however, by Emile adding an additional rein back at C at the end of the first half of the trot work! Its comforting to know it can happen to the best as well.!
Winner of the only qualifying place in the PSG was Sara Gallop and Summerhouse Don Diego, pictured at the top of the page.
