Pippa Wins Two At Somerford Park Premier League

Today was the first day of the popular Somerford Park Premier League. The outstanding partnership of the day was teenager Pippa Hutton and Duela (photo above) who won both the Junior Team trial and one of the two PSG Competitions scoring 68.38 and 67.7 respectively.  This was despite the fact that Pippa was wearing one arm in a sling while warming up as she has chipped a bone in her arm. Duela must now be a strong contender for the Junior Team for the European Championships which are being held in Denmark this Summer. The photo at the top is Nicky Patrick and Uglesias who was second to Pippa.

The other PSG was won by Andrew Gould on Mitchells Santorini Hit. This lovely expressive grey horse (photo below) still looks a little green at his level so there may be a lot more to come from him.
