Somerford Park Premier League

We had intended to spend all three days at Somerford Premier league, but events conspired and we were only ale to spend a few hours there so we can just give you a flavour of the event from the photos below.

We can however report that the weather was, as with the rest of the country, hot, and the new facilities at Somerford excellent. There are several new blocks of purpose build stables with a wash bay at the end of each line of stables. There is a huge new arena split into two areas, each big enough for two full size dressage arenas with room to spare, joined at either end, but separated by a bank with a line of flag poles. And it is all set in parkland next to the immaculate cross-country schooling area.

It is definitely a venue that BD should be able to put to good use in the future!
